Andrew Luck
I don’t want to be the guy who rips on a kid for taking the road less travelled, and stays in school, but I feel like someone is giving Andrew Luck bad advice.
You can’t possibly be any lower than the #2 pick in the draft this year, so there’s a lot of money that you’re going to make, even without taking a snap. Then your coach who has helped you and your university develop into a winner is almost certainly going to be gone next season. And your team will probably have to go through the Ducks next year, who aren’t going to get any easier to beat after getting an extra month of practice over other teams this year due to their late bowl game.
So yes, I think that this is a bad call, and that your school pride and desire to win it all on this level needs to take a back seat to the several millions of dollars you are being offered. I hope this turns out well, but I wish Andrew Luck would give Sam Bradford a call and see what he would do in this scenario.
